How did you learn hardware and software together?
Embedded systems combine hardware and software, and I find it difficult to understand both at the same time. I understand how difficult it can be to understand both hardware and software in embedded systems. What helped me most was using simulation software to practice without worrying about damaging hardware, and working on small beginner projects like blinking an LED. I also found practical experiments and online lessons helpful for building confidence. I used low cost insurance mesquite to organize my notes and review my understanding.
