Congratulations!!

Holly
Pursing her degree in Nursing through bridge prgram at North Idaho College and Lewis-Clark State College
She began this accelerated program in August 2025 while raising her young daughter as a single mother. Holly’s path to nursing was shaped by lived experience inside the healthcare system, not from the provider side, but as someone in need of care. During a difficult chapter of her life, compassionate nurses and healthcare professionals treated her with dignity when she struggled to believe in herself. That experience became the turning point that led her to recovery, stability, and education.
Brenda
Pursing her degree in Social Work and Early Childhood Education at North Idaho College
She hopes to create a childcare program that serves both children and parents and intervenes before families reach crisis.
Brenda’s journey reflects extraordinary resolve. As a single mother to an infant daughter, she made the decision to pursue sobriety, education, and long-term change during a time of deep instability. While facing housing insecurity and limited resources, Brenda enrolled full time in school and maintained strong academic performance.

Karla
Pursing her degree in Social Work at North Idaho College
Her goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in support for women impacted by domestic violence, coercive control, and cult related trauma.
Karla grew up in an environment where education, autonomy, and personal choice were limited. Choosing a different future requires courage and persistence. She returned to school while balancing parenting, employment, and healing from her own experiences. Along the way, she emerged as a campus leader, peer mentor, and advocate for other students navigating complex lives.
Samantha
Pursuing her degree in Social Work at Lewis Clark State College
Years ago, Samantha was navigating significant personal challenges and uncertainty about her future. One therapist believed in her potential and helped her see a path forward. That belief reshaped how Samantha viewed herself and her possibilities. It also planted the seed for her future career.
Samantha has since dedicated herself to education, recovery, and service. She has worked as a peer support professional, completed internship hours, and developed strong clinical foundations rooted in empathy, listening, and self-awareness. As a single mother, she models perseverance and growth for her daughter every day. Samantha is building a future focused on healing, advocacy, and helping others find hope when they need it most.
