For the past 42 years, over 300+ outstanding women in our community have been honored through the Women of Distinction Awards. This event was originally hosted by the Women’s Forum and has since been continued by Soroptimist International of Coeur d'Alene. The Women of Distinction Awards luncheon honors outstanding women within our community. Proceeds from the event directly support LOCAL women and girls through scholarships and mentoring programs.
Nominations
Soroptimist annually presents their “Women of Distinction” awards to women whose achievements and dedication to community service set them apart. Soroptimist of CDA is actively seeking nominations for deserving women in our community. Award nomination categories include arts and culture, business and professional, community service, education, health, public service, Second Act (senior) and Legacy.

The 42nd annual Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony will be held on November 8, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at the Best Western, Coeur d’Alene Inn. Proceeds from the event help support local women and girls through monetary awards, scholarships and mentorships.
